Dahréntråd has produced winding wire of copper and aluminium for more than 60 years. Our company started as a family business in 1945 and has now grown to be one of Europe's largest and most modern manufacturers.

Over the years, we have not only gained an expertise in copper, aluminium and the production process of winding wire. We have also developed a responsibility for the environment, which has made us market leaders in environmental issues. And we have managed to maintain our family company culture, even though the number of employees has increased over the years and our current production capacity is more than 45 000 tons per year – of which more than 90 percent is exported.

It is easy to believe that Jonslund is an ordinary rural community in the south-west of Sweden. But we are connected to the world through winding wires in high-tech products all over the globe. Today our winding wire of copper and aluminium can be found in washing machines, vacuum cleaners, elevators, cars, aircraft, computers, mobile phones, trains, wind power stations and power distribution networks. We also see an exceptional growth in environmental-friendly solutions such as alternative energy production and new energy saving concepts.
