It is the backbone of a modern infrastructure, yet one of the oldest materials in use by man. It is decorative, malleable and ductile and a standard benchmark for electrical and heat conductivity. We are in no danger of running out of it – only about 10 percent has been mined throughout history and nearly all of it is still in circulation. And above all, it is 100 percent natural.
